The New Hope Bike Co-op has produced a delightful video from Bike to Work Day 2013.

On Monday morning, the group started in the east end and rode to Gore Park to celebrate the event with cyclists from around the city.

The ride included several students from Holy Name of Jesus School, which recently received over 110 bicycles for students, siblings and families via the Bike for Mike fundraiser. The goal of Bike for Mike is to provide a street-legal bike and helmet for every child in Hamilton.

The ride also included musician Darin Martin, who performed on a stage towed by a bicycle.

They're at 1422 Main Street East, just east of Kenilworth, and you can reach them at 905-545-1991, email info@newhopecommunitybikes.com or on twitter @newhopebike.

The ride was also organized in cooperation with Hamilton Green Venture, Pedal Powered Family, yes We Cannon and the City of Hamilton.
