On Sunday April 3, St. John the Baptist Church will be welcoming Conductor Sabatino Vacca for a special concert to raise funds for a refugee family being sponsored by the church through the Blended Visa Office Referred program. He will be bringing a chorus of singers from the Southern Ontario Lyric Opera Company, and a small orchestra. Featured soloists include bass-baritone and Canadian Opera Company alumnus Gary Relyea, baritones Jeremy Ludwig and Jeffrey Carl, mezzo-soprano Cassandra Warner, and tenor Paul WIlliamson. Hamilton guitarist Emma Rush and The Cottonwood Brass will join them. The St. John refugee fundraising committee hopes to see you there!
Tickets: $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Refreshments will be served after the concert in St. John the Baptist School gym.
