PLAY SYNOPSIS:

No one gets between a man and his sandwich. For Herb, it’s a matter of hunger or death.

"I, Sandwich" explores the hilarious lengths a man will go in order to recover his missing lunchbox.

ROLES TO BE CAST:

HERB (MALE, 20s to 40s) - Herb is a quiet, awkward fellow that likes to keep to himself. While he works as a database administrator in a large office building, very few people seem to know he exists. Herb is a self-proclaimed foodie with a passion for the culinary arts. He spends most of his free time writing overly-detailed Yelp reviews.

DAN (MALE, 20s to 40s) – Dan is Herb’s boss at the office. Brash, arrogant, and invasive, Dan is a bully that uses intimidation to get what he wants. Most people in the office are either afraid of Dan, or think that he’s a jerk. Dan loves to pick on Herb, because seriously, who names their kid Herb?
