A celebration of stone, craft & community including: dry stone walling and stone carving courses and demonstrations, a food & artisan market, talks, tours & workshops, dance & live music, and children’s activities.
From the earliest generations of master builders to present day quarry workers, stonecutters, masons, sculptors and wallers – stone has been a building block of Canada’s national identity.
This two-day event brings together carvers, masons, artisans and everyone with a love of stone. The unique educational component of the experience includes lectures, demonstrations, workshops, dry stone walling and stone carving - with some of the best wallers and highly gifted sculptors from North America and the UK.
