Raise the Hammer
Art Battle is a live competitive painting event. Painters create the best work they can across three 20-minute rounds of live public painting. The audience votes for the winners of each round, and the ultimate winner of the night. The painters’ works are sold off in a silent auction the same night they finish painting. The event is an exciting celebration of local artistic talent paired with live DJ music and a cash bar for the enjoyment of the guests.
12 contestants will compete in the chance of entering the championship round of 2014 Art Battle National Championship. All proceeds will be going towards the Hamilton Arts Council to help continue their mission “to communicate, advocate and mediate for the arts and the role of the arts in the community of Hamilton”.
