Wait, what? We can't have safe, complete streets in the lower city because some people might not like them and move away? What about all the people who moved away, and countless others who never moved here in the first place, because our major thoroughfares are traffic sewers that are hostile to pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, visitors and local drivers, not to mention the street retail, commerce, and social life that characterizes the street life of healthy, vibrant cities?

This is truly the most specious, I'll-formed argument against safe streets I've heard yet. Even as a concern troll it's ridiculously hollow. Matthew Sweet is right. You're just trolling.
