The McNab conversion is part of the North end Traffic managment plan www.northendneighbours.com
Implementation of the plan started in April 2013. John st bridge will be done in 2014. James st bridge will be done in 2015. In time for the new GO Station & Pan am games coming in 2015. The bridges are being replaced due to the Height clearances for the new GO trains. Instead of being repaired. The Bay st Bridge was closed early due to it being unsafe for vehcle traffic it is still currently open to pedestrian & cycle traffic. The conversion WILL BE PERMANENT.
