Amazing article Borelli. So glad to read this sort of perspective here. I am, if nothing else, an archaeology nut.

Mayan cities were also well known for "ball courts", many of which remain to this day in the ruins of ancient Maya cities, and spread as far as modern Nicaragua and Arizona through their ancient neighbours.
