the rest of his website is a laugh too. He says that local residents don't want good infill projects like the new condos at Aberdeen and Dundurn, or basic infrastructure needs like bike lanes.
What? Is he going to head back to the glory days of the 80's when our part of the city was ignored and viewed as nothing more than a highway to somewhere else?? Believe it or not, many of us like riding our bikes and having safe lanes for our kids to ride their bikes.
As for nice condos replacing an empty old Hortons store, I think most people like that sort of thing. I'm sure you'll get votes from those who love empty old buildings like 220 Dundurn hulking over the neighbourhood year after year, but count me out from that fantastic vision for my neighbourhood. Hamilton has enough hoods like that already. We don't need more.
