Jonathan,
I think your passion and absolute conviction on this discussion comes across as hostility when viewed instead of heard. I also found some responses to my posts harsh just because we have different views. I think you have well thought out positions on what's going on and you bring up some very good solutions on the other threads (permit parking). I have also found that when you don't react with pure passion but present an argument you have a powerful voice and a logic that has to be listened to.
I hope you don't find this preachy or condescending, that is far from my intent.
