2 things I hate about Bratina:
He has a narrow view of downtown- I heard him state more than a few times "there are 10000 people in Hess Village on a Saturday night but there's nobody downtown". He acts as if Hess is in Glanbrook or something! Same with his original notion that an East Harbour stadium would "cannabalize downtown business". So what is downtown? King between Bay and John?
He's Ronald Reagan without the actual leadership skills- Like Reagan, Bratina is the king at rolling out stories of the "good ol days" when Hamilton was a great city. Anything about Hamilton's past is positive. Anything about it present or future is negative. This appeals so much to people like my parents it's scary.
