In response to Z Jones' posting of the Dilbert cartoon:

Actually--since "fungible" means, "being of such nature or kind as to be freely exchangeable or replaceable, in whole or in part, for another of like nature or kind"; and since oil (a finite resource) cannot be replaced (easily or otherwise) by a magical, mythical, "free market" substitute--the statement Dilbert's car would make would be, "I don't understand that infinite growth is by definition impossible on a finite planet".
