where the heck is the zookeeper. This is ridiculous.
Anyone with a functioning brain should be able to come to the following two conclusions:
Local delivery trucks aren't the big problem here. It's the trucks carrying coils of steel barreling down Main St that are the problem (unless there is a new steel plant in the Stelco Tower that I'm unaware of).
Local deliveries in the lower city should be made by smaller delivery trucks and not those mega 18-wheelers one commenter spoke about at Subway in Westdale. It's insane for the city to allow a massive truck like that to rumble through densely populated neighbourhoods.
Maybe other cities have a vast network of underground truck tunnels that I've never seen, but somehow all the stores and shops in downtown Ottawa or NY or Portland manage to get their goods without 18 wheelers speeding by 24/7.
