This article is so true of the depths to which Dubai has sunk.
The article does not mention the rampant inflation, skyrocketing rents etc. that force people to borrow heavily. Then they cannot repay. Consequently the suicide rate in Dubai is shooting up.
A recent Gulf News article mentioned that many expats can no longer afford to pay their rents and have sent their families home and are sleeping in cars!!!!!
