"Fully funded" says Ryan. Yet the Spec says the Eastgate "extension" *hinges* on finding savings: http://www.thespec.com/news-story/7265908-lrt-to-eastgate-hinges-on-hunt-for-savings/
When orginally announced the project extended to Eastgate and included the James St spur. The James St spur was eliminated. The funding wasn't assigned to the A-Line bus lane; it just went missing. Where did it go? No one seems to know. Now we can't find the dollars to get to Eastgate for some reason.
Can someone please reconcile these two viewpoints? Is it fully funded or isn't it? And what is "it"? I thought it was the B-Line LRT as originally proposed. Now it's something much smaller. I bet Ryan $10,000 in October that the James St spur wouldn't be built and that the project would be de-scoped. Anytime you want to write me a cheque Ryan. Maybe have one of your developer buddies sign it.
