There are other possibilities. Memories are notoriously frail. It is simply possible that Coleman and Clark are wrong. They may remember things a certain way that does not appear to be correct. That does not mean they are lying. they are just wrong.

There appears to be a secondary movement - just no contact.

Based on this video, the whole issue is a non-issue.
