and from the MITL study on complete streets (emphasis added) on Hamilton:

One-way streets have a place but they encourage faster speeds and lengthen local trips, thereby rewarding those passing through and punishing those living and working in the neighbourhood. More streets should be converted.

and don't forget the 2000 Can J Pub Health article showing that Hamilton's one-way streets are 2.5 times ore dangerous for children than its two-way streets.

Do you really think all this evidence is just wrong?
