Thanks for compiling this!

Although it isn't exactly good news for me - I was hoping we'd be seeing a stop in the long gap between Longwood and the University. No such luck. I'm sure folks living near Wellington or Strathearne would be even more annoyed.

there's also a stop planned at King/Walnut. That's close to Wellington.

I can't help imagining this as a video showing phased southern expansion into the mountain suburbs, and a laser cannon scrolling back and forth along Rymal to protect the AEGD against sustainable transportation models.

Asteroids? I was thinking more like Space Invaders ;-)

I'm curious if somebody can answer a detail for me? What's the plan for the 403 crossing? I've tried crawling through the city's PDFs but it's too painful.

There is a plan to build a separate right-of-way bridge in the routing over the 403. The train, which travels on the south side of King St W, would travel diagonally between the east side of the 403 at King St to the west side of the 403 on the north side of Main St W.

The above map shows that as best as can be shown on Google Maps.

After seeing how well King and Main flow with 2 lanes missing, this actually seems kind of wasteful. There may be valid engineering reasons that it's better to build a bridge, but Main can obviously afford to lose the lanes (King needs its bike lanes back).

If I remember correctly, the hypothetical B-Line was routed along the two southern lanes of King until it hit Paradise and is routed to Main West until it reaches McMaster (on the eastern end, it follows king until the Delta, where it switches onto Main East until it reaches Eastgate).

I much rather support a Main St. line, like the International Village BIA. Running the line through King will cause issues at Wellington till John (where only two lanes are available). Espcially since 260 King St's parking garage opens onto King St. Basically, just don't switch over at the Delta and stick to the left side of Main St. You can easily put a station at Fergusson and at MacNab and the Prospect St. stop for Ivor Wynne is close enough.

I thought this was supposed to be helpful for the International Village (West of Wellington) but such would not be the case. No stops between Wentworth and McNab Street? Am I missing something here?

As mentioned above by another poster, there should be a proposed station at King and Walnut.

You'll find it at page 8 of the pdf at the following link:

For those interested, the link also shows the crossing over the 403 with the separate proposed right of way (page 4).

That is a nice document. Thanks for the link.

I added the Walnut stop, right beside Theatre Aquarius.
