No More Excuses

You don't have a backyard and your landlord won't allow you to cart a box of worms inside. For a measly $400 US, you can now buy an indoor composter that takes up to 2.3 kilos of kitchen waste a day, uses no worms, produces no odours, and generates a tray of compost in two weeks.

It does use some electricity (10 watts), but according to the company, that's less than the diesel the garbage truck would use to cart this way to the dump, where it wouldn't compost and wouldn't build soil.
