You've found something in the wash that is not yours and you may be left dumbfounded and hurt.
Cheating is more than just about breaking trust.
It may break your heart and your health.
You may not have been using condoms with your man, maybe just the pill. And that may create a lot of confusion and anger when you decide that it is over.
Here's the deal.
The pill doesn't protect you from sexually transmitted blood-borne infections (STBBIs) such as HIV and HEPC. And don't forget chlamydia, syphilis and genital herpes.
Whether you stay or go, both of you need to GET TESTED for HIV/AIDS and other infections.
The mobile VAN offers no-name HIV and HEPC testing Tuesdays. There is no need to bring an OHIP card.
You do not have to come to the VAN; the VAN will come to you.
HIV test results in 5 minutes. The HEPC test takes around 20 minutes.
Instead of drawing blood, your nurse will prick your finger.
