Trucks from the NE industrial quarter can get to Aberdeen and the 403 QUICKER by using the QEW/403 combo. I've timed it. Heading to Brantford area they could use the Claremont/Linc/403 as you mention. There's no reason to have transports ripping through residential neighbourhoods, even if means doubling their travel time. Flip Cannon and Wilson to two-way with curb-side parking during off-peak hours and watch the trucks magically find the freeways that ring our city.
