As someone who lives in the East end as well, I share Boourns concerns. As we know, we don't have a congestion problem so if our business model is counting on the riders who begin their trip at Eastgate to switch over to the LRT at the Queenston traffic circle, we may be setting ourselves up for less successful project than what this can be. It may be difficult to convince current users to purchase a monthly bus pass as well as a presto pass just to save a few minutes per day on their commute downtown. Presumably a fulsome discussion on the B-line extension cost versus the A-line has already occurred that we're not aware of? Politics aside, the initial uptake from current users of the whole B-line should be a priority
