Raise the Hammer
The Campaign for Adequate Welfare and Disability Benefits is hosting a protest rally at Queens Park on April 27 2010.
This rally is to get the government to stop clawing back the Ontario Child Benefits off of the social assistance cheques.
Please call 905-548-6231 to register, a light lunch will be provided. We need fellow Hamiltonians to join us.
The bus will pick people up at the Fortinos Plaza on Dundurn at 8:45 am.

Maybe if you spent less time protesting and more time working, you and your friends wouldn't be in such dire straits?

As an individual that works 80+ hours a week, and see's more and more taxes clawing away at my income, I feel it is fair that people who are professional welfare abusers be given the short end of the stick.
It's about time the taxes that I pay by nearly killing myself go to something that would gain a return on the investment. It's about time the welfare checks went back to the way they were in the 40's. The landlord gets his rent first, then the remainder is given in food stamps, with a check 2x a year to help with other items.

Someone has to stand up for the children because people can see the you two do not care one iota if children go without.
But of course all those tax dollars that went to the corporations were the fault of the poor, just as all the dollars spend out to consultants and the politicans that spend money on dinners, lunches, booze, how about cocaine, fancy vehicles to chauffer them around, that is not the cause of all the big taxes you pay.
The creator is watching you two, karma may come back to bite you.
