Fairytale Femdom

Fairytale Femdom from Squeeky Wheel Productions in Toronto is an extraordinary piece of theatre. Actress Caitlin Robson starts the show on stage, gets changed into a dominatrix outfit and then bares her soul.

In 50 minutes of spontaneous storytelling, she takes us through her life as a Switch, which is someone who engages in BDSM as both a Domme and a sub. Mostly she seems to be a Domme, and she tells us stories of her clients and co-workers, revealing the humanity that is, sometimes literally, under the mask.

She tells of her broken heart trying to find someone who will love her as she is, and the moments of joy when that seems to have happened. It is one of the most open, honest, heart wrenching, tragic, fascinating performances I’ve ever seen at The Fringe or elsewhere. There’s not much else to say about this performance except go and see it, it’s a must see. Don’t take the kiddies.
