Last Wednesday, January 9, a public meeting organized by the Hamilton Civic League, Environment Hamilton, Hamiltonians for Progressive Development and the Hamilton chapter of the Council of Canadians provides an update on the Airport Employment Growth District (AEGD) plan, popularly known as the Aerotropolis, that is going to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) for a three-week hearing starting January 14, 2013.
The public meeting included a presentation by Don McLean of Environment Hamilton detailing the AEGD plan, the location, the proposed land use, and problems with the city's justification for the biggest boundary expansion in the city's history.
Thanks to Peter Ormond, we have recordings of McLean's talk.

Thanks a lot, belatedly, for posting these important two videos. Geographic and political history of so-called aerotropolis that you won't get anywhere else and--with this kind of excellent info--not from anybody else. So special thanks to Don McLean.

Don McLean? He is still around? I thought that he would have dissapeared after the RHVP was built and the world came to an end.
