A Rigged Debate

Ontario Minister of Transportation Harinder Takhar has re-opened the debate on whether the province should allow multi-truck rigs on provincial highways.

It turns out there are already highways that allow multi-truck trailers, and they've been hauling freight cars efficiently and safely for over a centruy. They're called railways, and our politicians would spend their time more wisely figuring out how to take full advantage of them before oil gets so expensive that Canada's industrial heartland can no longer afford to transport goods.
