Sophia Aggelonitis, Liberal MPP for Hamilton Mountain, has issued a joint statement with Ted McMeekin, Liberal MPP for Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Waterdown, that reconfirms the Province's commitment to support the City of Hamilton's decision on a Pan Am stadium location.
In her email to RTH, Aggelonitis writes:
For our part, we've tried to be clear that the province is committed to help fund a stadium for the Pan Am Games, that we want this stadium to be in Hamilton, and that we will support the outcome of the site location process currently in place.
She also highlighted the importance for the people of Hamilton "to come together and discuss issues that matter, and the more voices that are engaged, the better the decisions."
The email concludes, "We've said what we need to say."

This is a Hamilton planning issue. Council must make the right choice for our city and our tax money. Good on the province for understanding this.

I've learnt two new phrases today: blow heart; and gut-o-lard. I love learning.
