Metrolinx has finalized its new board of directors after the Ontario Government decided to replace the original board of municipal politicians with planners and technocrats. The representative for Hamilton is Richard Koroscil, President and CEO of John C Munro Hamilton International Airport.
Metrolinx has a full list of Board members with links to individual bios:
In addition to Koroscil, who has an extensive background in aviation, the board includes representatives from: high tech manufacturing, corporate and commercial law, corporate publishing and communications, culture and tourism, human resources, mortgage financing and securities, urban and regional planning, and community development.
Does anyone else wish there were more, you know, transportation planners on the board for this major provincial transportation planning agency?

Metrolinx are working really really hard to put a board together who can be less functional than their previous one.
