Raise the Hammer
In a press release issued today, Mayoral candidate Edward HC Graydon announced that he will visit every homeless shelter and food bank in the city, starting at the Salvation Army facility on York Blvd near Bay St.
The press release starts, "Although visiting every Tim Hortons in the city is a noble idea, I believe that it is more important to visit each person in need." This is a reference to Mayoral candidate Fred Eisenberger's announcement earlier this week that he plans to visit every Tim Hortons in the city before election day.

Don't follow Mayor Fred's example. Get permission first.

I don't think Fred would need to ask permission to visit a Tims. From what I read when he started, it wasn't supposed to be a media frenzy or a time to meet Fred... It was him grabbing a coffee and talking to people for a few mins then heading on his way. Not sure how it turned out though.

His campaign did get permission from Tim's. Tim's sponsors the Ticats. I guess they used this as an opportunity to embarrass Fred, even though their letter basically amounts to "carry on doing what you were doing with fewer cameras".
Maybe Fred should have chosen all those $2 dollar coffee shops where all the elite artists hang out. Apparently Hamilton is full of them.

Dhalings, I saw Diiane at Starbucks ordering a Venti Latte..and passing out cards to the elite...now why wasn't he chased out????

You kids will buy anything Fred sells you! Good thing for him, because he'll need the commission when he asks you "Fries with that?" on Oct. 26
