Mark Chamberlain, CEO of Trivaris and head of the Jobs Prosperity Collaborative, has launched a new campaign called Go Ticats West Harbour with the goal of committing Ticat supporters to pledge season tickets contingent on the Ticats committing to play at the West Harbour.

In a press release announcing the Go Ticats West Harbour website, Chamberlain stated, "We need to show the team that not only do we want them to remain an institution in this community, but that the West Harbour is the destination of choice for a significant number of new, prospective season ticket holders."

The organization will collect pledges to buy season tickets, and will forward those pledges to the Ticats if and when the team commits to playing at the West Harbour stadium. According to their website:

What other more visible way is there to invest in your city and your team? Buying season tickets is the best way to create a financially viable team. And, a viable team will help create a financially viable stadium that helps grow a vibrant downtown, harbour and public transportation system, which are all necessary and critical parts of our future city.

You can visit the site and make a pledge at: http://goticatswestharbour.com.

I signed up. But I'm afraid it won't be enough, because I didn't sign up for a season's parking pass too.
