Peeter Laurits joins the Hamilton Arts Council from Tallinn, Estonia for the month of November as part of the European Artist Residency.

Laurits studied history, philosophy, literature and arts in Tartu, Tallinn and Leningrad Universities and New York International Center of Photography. He has been exhibiting his works internationally since 1990. His work has appeared at the Roy Boyd Gallery / Chicago, The Living Art Museum / Reykjavik, Museu d'Agua / Lisbon, The Ragged School Gallery / London, Giedre Bartelt Gallery / Berlin, Pavlov Media Lab / Groningen, FotoLoft / Moscow and many others.
His works appear in many private and public collections around the world. He has also created many monumental works for public space.
