Celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary in Hamilton! On July 1, enjoy family-friendly fun at the waterfront including roaming performers, face-painters and balloonists, and food trucks for all tastes. For this special 150th anniversary celebration, you’ll be treated to a spectacular live music line-up presented by RBC featuring award-winning Canadian artists Jully Black, Steve Strongman and Sarah Slean, interactive multicultural activities, and a dazzling fireworks finale at 10 p.m., set to an orchestral arrangement performed live by Maestro Boris Brott and the National Academy Orchestra of Canada. Welcome Inn Community Centre’s Food Bank will be on hand to collect non-perishable food and cash donations in support of Hamilton’s North End community.
