Join the Hamilton Naturalists' Club on a hike through Mt Albion Conservation Area as we share tips, tricks, and tools used by field naturalists for finding, identifying, and recording species of all varieties.
Whether you're new to the study and application of the natural world, or an old hand, the outing will be geared towards ensuring it is a learning experience for all. Bring along any field naturalist "tools" such as binoculars, hand lens, etc. if you have them, but also your modern mobile tech tools as well -- smartphones, cameras and the like -- as we'll touch upon how these can also be effectively used to assist in exploring local ecosystems.
Meet at the dead end of Anchor Rd, just off of Stone Church Road east of Dartnall Road. The HSR Upper Ottawa 22 bus has a stop nearby as well.
Time: 9am-11:30am
