McMaster 'age' researcher, Dr. David Rollo looks at laboratory research into how and why diet changes may slow the effects of aging. Slowing the effects of aging could have a huge impact on our society and health care, reducing cancers, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and heart disease among other conditions. So far, mice have benefited from promising effects of special dietary interventions. Can such ideas eventually help people to age with better health? A talk presented by The Hamilton Association. Everyone welcome. No registration or tickets needed. Details and parking advice at www.haalsa.org. Wheelchair accessible and close to HSR bus stops.
