Raise the Hammer
The ward 2 participatory budget process in 2013 resulted in the approval of a budget to plan and organize a multicultural festival for the ward 2 area A free one-day festival for connecting and celebrating the rich diversity in Hamilton's Ward 2 neighbourhoods’.
The date for this festival is Saturday August 23, 2014 at Pier 8 - Hamilton Waterfront Trust located at 47 Discovery Drive.
The festival will feature local performers, music, games, kids' activities, food, and arts and crafts vendors. There will also be a space for inter-cultural dialogue about how to make our community a welcoming place for all.
