And sometimes it just comes down to observation. The blast radius in Niagara Falls, USA and even the blast radius in downtown Niagara Falls, Canada should tell us what to expect.

The mind** that gets me every time is that we actually have local casinos to draw from. It's not like we're so far away from other casinos that we can plead ignorance.

Brantford is great example. One thing I am confused about is the reference to the "bustling going on in Downtown Brantford" in correlation to the casino. Let's be clear, Downtown Brantford was dead until students made it their home. The casino was there for over a decade and did almost nothing. I don't say this as a passerby, I lived in Brantford during the development of the casino. It was not ever, nor would ever be, an economic driver. Stating otherwise is supreme ignorance.
