Excellent article and great comments shared by everyone. The missus and I had a wonderful encounter while manning the fort for Open Garden Week at the Gage Park Community Garden yesterday. We were visited by a number of people including members of the South Sherman Neighbourhood: Garden JPG Image

The folks from South Sherman with some help from Project Video Productions were collecting material for a film they are making about community. I must say I am very impressed with PVP's website and the quality of their video productions which serve to promote Hamilton. You will see some familiar faces in their videos including some buildings featured in this article.

IT requires individual efforts to be a part of the change we want to see in this city. I have chosen to promote good health through involvement in community gardens with the Crown Point Neighbourhood Planning Team and together we hope to establish the largest most intense community garden project in Hamilton next season. We will begin our project with a clean-up event on Saturday July 7th at the Pipeline Trail located near London Street North and Main Street East from 8:30am to 12 o'clock noon. All are welcome.

We can make a difference in our city but IT takes a whole lot more than just talking about our ideas. We have to actually get out there and do something to make them a reality.

Cheers
