Your comments here are getting increasingly bizarre and cryptic.I applaud and appreciate the town halls work. But it seems like more and more you are struggling to bring forth a message about HOW people should become engaged, and usually this comes across as telling people that they are becoming engaged "wrongly". The net result is going to be scaring people away from civic engagement for fear of "not doing it right". It's gotten to the point where I don't even understand what you are getting at anymore. You are quick to "tsk" at people for going about things the wrong way but you offer no clear (and especially no concise) ideas about what people SHOULD be doing. At least some of us are talking about the issues themselves rather than being stuck talking about how we should think about talking about talking about the issues.

Perhaps you personally disagree with building B-Line LRT. If that's the case, just say so. And tell us why -- coherently. So far, any arguments I've heard against LRT boil down to lack of money and lack of will. While I can relate to these roadblocks, I do not view them as actual reasons not to build rail. I see rail as ultimately its own solution to these problems in the long run, if only we can get past them in the short term.

I don't think arguing in online comments is going to get us anywhere, but you seem like someone who may be able to influence some people into caring about issues, so maybe this observation from an outsider will be taken to heart even on a small level...
