Let's take a look at the numbers.

Maple leaf is paying $2,670,000 in development charges. Arguments are made that the cost should be higher, so let's assume they should be a little more than double at $6,000,000 to reflect the true cost.

The West Harbour Site needed $8,000,000 in remediation work for the stadium, and it is a lot less than 50 acres. So how can this tale of 2 sites possibly show that brownfield remediation is cheaper than greenfield development?

Am I missing something?
