And yet places with better transit have higher transit usage. We have an excellent nearby test case to study as Waterloo Region has been growing its transit ridership in exact linear proportion to its transit funding and service levels since 2000. Likewise, places that improve cycling connectivity experience higher bicycle usage.

I've had enough of the same tedious, lame excuses for why these universal principles of good urban design somehow wouldn't work in Hamilton.
