First place I ever lived in Hamilton was on Emerson Street. I loved that we could walk down to what was then called The Thirsty Camel for a pint of low-priced indie-brew. (I believe I favoured Waterloo Dark as a discount Guiness.)

I also remember buying a Hibachi for $2 at the old hardware store (I think it was a Beaver Lumber) on Emerson. It cost more for the briquettes. :)
