Which is why places like North Hamilton have reduced speed limits on their residential streets. This makes perfect sense, eliminating car and truck traffic doesn't make as much sense to me.

Hamilton has good traffic flow, it's good for business, I honestly don't see the benefit to the city or it's residents by going out of our way to change that.

Of course we would all have far more time to walk or cycle if we were unemployed so I suppose there's that.

I'm being facetious, but at the end of the day all I want is balance. Not knee jerk reactions which governments are prone to making. Make sure that proposed changes are good for EVERYONE. Being a cyclist entitles you to equal rights, not more rights. And for the record I walk and take public transit nearly everywhere I go.
