Regional transit coordinator Metrolinx has just announced $190,000 in funding for bike racks on buses and secure bicycle lockers near municipal and regional transit stations.
The idea, according to city alternative transportation manager Daryl Bender in a press release by the mayor's office, is to "make multi-modal trips more convenient" by more closely integrating cycling and transit infrastructure.
