A water main break at Aberdeen Avenue and Queen Street has been cleared overnight.
The break occurred early yesterday afternoon and disrupted traffic until late at night, as lane restrictions forced vehicles coming down the escarpment on Beckett Drive to turn right at Aberdeen.
After school yesterday, a crossing guard was dispatched to the signalized pedestrian crossing at Aberdeen Avenue and Kent Street.
Neighbouring residents reported a drop in water pressure while repair work was underway.

I just heard back from the city: the water pressure should be back to normal now. Here's the explanation I received:
The lower pressure was an outcome of yesterday's water main break. Although the repairs were completed last night there were some lingering effects this morning that staff had to address.
