A book is also available at Truscott, Brown & Dwyer Funeral Chapel located at 1309 King Street East (by Gage Park, at the delta). We also have memorial folders available for anyone who drops by and will have everything available until the end of the labour day weekend. We are open 9 am - 9 pm week days, and 9 am - 5pm on weekends (inlcuding holidays).

I hope that by the sheer size & nature of the outpouring of sadness, reverence, & respect that has been shown to Jack Layton & his family, that perhaps some of our current politicians will realize what exactly a 'civil society' is & how much that goal really means to "The Working People of Canada".
Rest in peace, Jack.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I am so sorry to hear about your loss and I would like to offer you my condolences. I can understand your frustrations and pains in your heart with this world and why we should have hope because I used to feel the same way. But keep in mind that God is always there to keep us going and He will never leave us especially in times like this.
